Raj Thackeray Demands Explanation from Eknath Shinde Over Maratha Activist’s Protest

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has publicly called on Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to explain the recent protest in Mumbai led by Maratha activist Manoj Jarange Patil.

Thackeray Questions Shinde’s Previous Meeting with Patil

Following a meeting with party workers in Thane, Thackeray emphasized the need for Shinde to address the situation. He pointedly referred to a previous meeting between Shinde and Patil in Navi Mumbai, where Shinde had declared the issue resolved. The renewed protests, Thackeray suggests, indicate that the matter is far from settled.

Thackeray Remains Tight-Lipped on Impact of Protest

Interestingly, Thackeray declined to comment on the disruption and inconvenience caused to Mumbai residents by the protest. His focus remained squarely on Shinde’s responsibility to explain the situation and find a resolution.
