In a significant victory against drug trafficking, Thane police have dismantled a massive inter-state ganja supply network spanning an incredible 1,800km. The operation, centered in Kalyan, resulted in the arrest of 13 individuals and the seizure of over 115kg of ganja.

The intricate network originated at the Andhra Pradesh-Orissa border, with the ganja being transported to various parts of Maharashtra. This meticulously planned operation involved significant coordination and resources, highlighting the lengths to which these criminals were willing to go.
Police Seize Weapons and Vehicles
Beyond the massive ganja haul, authorities also confiscated walkie-talkies, a revolver, and several vehicles used in the operation. This seizure not only disrupts the immediate supply of drugs but also significantly weakens the group’s ability to operate in the future, dealing a major blow to the inter-state ganja supply chain.
